The PowerBook 2400 uses tantalum caps on it's motherboard but has some atypical (for Apple) through-hole electrolytic caps on its power/IO board.

Ah, those aren’t electrolytic caps. They’re Sanyo OS-CON caps which are solid polymer and won’t leak/are very unlikely to fail. Still good to have the values just in case but the chance of one of those failing is next to none.
