Earlier this year, I was able to do something pretty cool. I was running an SE/30 with a IIsi Radius Pivot Card as well as a Micron Color XCEED Card. The Micron card has a standard PDS address, but the Pivot is able to be changed. Because there isn't enough room inside the bucket, I had to leave it off. The micron is driving the Dell LCD and the Radius is driving the Apple 17" Multiscan Display. There is also a TwinSpark riser and a Daystar 50Mhz PowerCache to keep things running quickly.
For some reason, I haven't been able to get the Radius card working like I did before, I think it might have something to do with pin sensing. I'd like to have someone test the IIsi Pivot Card for me to verify that it's still working correctly. I haven't tried it in another one of my SE/30 so maybe I'll try that first. (I have three of them). I have MacFlim playing the "Dodge This" clip from the Matrix, and it's also displaying the JPEGView Parrots on the 17" and a gray scale logo on the Dell. The Dell and the 17" are both running 640X480 256 Colors. Apparently you can run the Radius Pivot at 832X624, but I am not entirely sure how to get that going with the VGA adapter.
Hope you like this, as I'm not sure if anyone has done this before.
I'm working on the Micron Gray Scale adapter board and harness, as I'd love to have internal gray scale, external color, ethernet, Acceleration and Wifi working for the cool Spotify Remote.
Love to hear your thoughts and feedback.
Technically you COULD get all this inside the bucket, but you'd need to create a homemade PDS extension and some creative mounting techniques. May also have to check the power supply to make sure it's not being taxed too much. Both the logic board and the power supply have been recapped.
