@MacEffects FYI on this thread since we were just chatting about the subject. It'd be nice to find a shop that specializes in plastic/paint spectrometry to sample something like a sealed-in-box accessory with no texture (like the inside of a mouse ball cover) that's likely to be exactly or close...
This guide was created based on an early 1984 128K Mac analog board P/N 630-0102 with a black anode cap and Logic Board P/N 630-0101. Regardless, this guide should also apply to later revisions of the 128K, 512K and Plus. Links to Digikey and Mouser have not been included since things go out of...
I mostly collect Apple and directly adjacent things (NeXT, Radius, etc.), but my first computer was a Packard Bell desktop. It was a 486SX 33... probably some form of Legend from 1993-94ish but I don't recall the details. It had the Frog Design case with gray Memphis style squiggles. It was...
@AndyDiags I've added Lead Spacing above.
Also, for anyone curious, here are all the caps as measured in this specific Mac 128K. Quite impressive that only one cap is wildly out of spec.
@Kai Robinson Will do. I'm going to measure all the lead spacings when I do the recap itself. Once I have all of those measurements, I'll add the updated sheet to Resources.
Good catch. I've added in C14. It's a 22uF 50V axial like C6. I did not include C33 or C37 (Ceramic disc caps) since I've never seen those fail and AFAIK are not common to replace prophylactically. I can add them in here as optional if others think it's a good idea.
Edit: @JDW are you...
Oh funny I made a similar post at almost the same time. I was considering sharing my Digikey cart, but as you mention availability changes so often. I opted for adding the physical specs instead so someone in the future could find whatever usable options are at the time.
I'll update mine to...
I'm in the process of doing a full recap on a 128K Mac and was having a hard time finding a complete list. So I made my own. This is for the 120V version part number 630-0102. The physical sizes might be off by a part of a mm, but replacements will mostly be smaller anyway.

I've been working on a bugged SE/30 board and ran into the same issue checking the Bourns filter packs. Out of circuit they measured something like 45k across, but in circuit was a variety. I compared to a referenced known-good board. You can see the specific values here if you're curious. Short...
