Depends on the board you have. There are three crystals in the machine you have, depends on the motherboard type you have as well. Y2 is responsible for CPU speed. If you have a 6MHz 286, Y2 is 12Mhz. If you have an 8MHz 286, you have a 16MHz one. Y3 is always a 32.768KHz crystal (used for the...

Wow - i have to say i've never seen one of these in the wild - so many unique Japanese market only systems out there. That connector looks practically hellish though - why would they use that?! 😂

Well, the easiest thing to do, would be to get hold of a System 7 ulity disk image, and then you can write the image to the floppy directly - do you have any other macs other then the plus?

Have you found a need for heatsink at 33MHz with those steppings?
