Not only for fun, its to know what needs cooling, so you can adjust the cooling flow effectively, and then maybe reduce rpm-(noise) But I am sorry to say the Tube temp here does not get higher than 41C . Delta T of about 20C So the fan does work here effectively I suspect. No ABS plastic...

Only when in contact to the object, you get specific temps…..so on the tube itself. It will be ok✅

Maybe a friend of mine lets me use his optical meter. Or there is an app what can do that? Otherwise I just measurabove the coils is that acceptable? 🍀

Yes, thats the big question. Mounting the temp resistor to the coil or neck is something that maybe dangerous. (for me) I see what can be done……💥

just to know…..did place the sensor on the coil. It went up from 24C to 45C in about two hours. Dont think this is crazy hot or so. 🍀

Hi, Thanks! Hope it works out ok….🙈 This stuff is pricy. For the making of the master mould, check post 63. As I used the original CRT glass in the master, the curvature cant be far off. Less than 1% as I understand👍 🍀
