Sometimes posting photos helps to attract much needed attention to a thread, so here are some very high resolution photos of the top and bottom of my Analog Board, as well as zoom shots of the 68.4V VGA Mod (Sense Lines & Horizontal Deflection Voltage areas). You'll also see I have the stereo...
@Paolo B , because you said you won’t have the ability to test for a few more weeks, I’m going to write a few words below that take this thread back to the question I asked in my opening post because I’d like to get some thoughts from other CC owners.
I’m in the middle of filming a video about...
Wow! The fact you desoldered that entire connector is incredible!
I really must go to work now, but I just wanted to post a little extra for you, so you have something to ponder.
The book Doping Mac, which @Kay K.M.Mods sells and recommended to me, shows that when doing the 84V 13" Hi-Rez Mod...
DV means diode, and I think I see the Cathode line marking on the side closest to that DV11 silkscreen.
Determining the type of diode and its part number is crucial for replacement.
I see that @Mu0n has a nice photo here...
All of us who have done the 68.4V "VGA Mod" on our Mac Color Classic ANALOG BOARDS know that you must change the SENSE LINES, and that involves ISOLATING pin-25. I did that, along with @Branchus and @Kay K.M.Mods and countless other people through the years, and none of us have any problems...
@dramirez
I have no idea what he was linking to originally, but I see "thunder_202306" appearing in his URL to Archive dot ORG, so I did a search and it found 13 PDFs pertaining to Radius displays here:

I got my JLC-printed, carbon-fiber reinforced 60mm SE & SE/30 Analog Board FAN MOUNT installed, and here's how it looks:
I think @alxlab intended for this mount to not require use of nuts on the bolts (machine screws), but if you insert and remove screws a few times, I think that might...
Thank you for this announcement, @eric !
I see from the FAQ that the emulator is called "SNOW" because of the "Snow White" design language Apple used (via Frog Design), starting with the Apple IIc in 1984 and continuing in the Macintosh line until the IIfx in 1990. "Snow White" is a little...
I recommend always checking the Dead Mac Scrolls when you have issues with your compact Macs. That incredible is your BEST FRIEND when it comes to any Vintage Mac. I have an original paper copy, but the good news it has been scanned and made available online, fully keyword searchable.

We should perhaps say, "with the Console5 diode." Because the parts I purchased from Mouser did not require any drilling, and the legs on that particular diode were pretty meaty too. I guess yours was just meatier still.
I agree though that drilling isn't something most people would want to...
@jibsaramnim
I'm both pleased and shocked that resistor measures 100Ω. Great you don't need a replacement, but that Blue or Violet 5th band at the end is unusual. It's not unheard of for high precision resistors like 0.1% tolerance ones, but those are expensive and your kit was cheap, so it...
I saw this post on FaceBook today, and I simply had to add a title and captions...
I believe Steve is looking at the back side of the Cube, but the shot makes it look like his head is inside, which is absolutely hilarious, especially when you book at the facial expression of that bearded guy.
For those of you who don't already know, @slomacuser did a fantastic write-up on LEM here:

It's an absolute must-read. No ChatGPT summaries! It's worth your time to read in full.
Thank you for spending so much time to bring us that...
You're right! Thanks for pointing that out!
Specifically, these should be opened in modern Photoshop...
Then you should add sharpening...
Then with some lifting of the Shadows on the NuBus Card, with slightly increased Saturation, and with Blacks adjusted in Levels, and with a 2x...
Thank you for the short video demo!
Sure, glad they improved those pointy index finger to icons. The upper left corner pixel in the capital letter “A” in the AIDS menu is interesting, and I see why they improved that font with smoothing.
Interesting to see how “Mix“ load to San Francisco...
The Apple artwork is kind of neat. When opening the IIci EPS file in a modern version of Illustrator, for example, it displays like this (grayscale)...
Zooming in all the way on the Apple logo on that IIci shows how crude their shadowing was back then...
But when zoomed out, it looks...
