live auction "the apples" at Julien's live

I skimmed the list. Prices seem fair from what I've seen lately, maybe even a bit low.

Applied Engineering TransWarp TW1340 - Information Wanted

I have one of these guys and a Control Panel I can dig up for you that gives you some tools. There's also a product called "Virtual" that will let the SE see the memory on the AE card, so you can have an SE with a 68030 and 16MB of RAM.

PowerCache Card in IIci -- Why So Slow?

So - wrong name for the app and the wrong machine - about par for how my day has been going :)

Apple /// - Titan /// +2 Board Set is cloned and ready

OK - that's not too scary, then :) Put me down as a "YES" for a kit!

PowerCache Card in IIci -- Why So Slow?

Wasn't there an app called something like "Memory gobbler" or "grabber" or "eater" that did this for you on the IIci?

Massive Vintage Apple Haul in Idaho

Once the pile of snow from the snowplow in front of my third stall melts a bit more, it will be time to get out the '82 RX-7 :)

    IIci with no SCSI

Also, IIci can be funky with termination power, at least on the internal connector. If you are doing the external device only, I think you need at least a passive terminator on the internal connector.

    400K Floppy Drive Issues

I found that a drop of xylene (a solvent you can get at a hardware store in the US) does a good job of dissolving the dried up grease on these drives. Just a drop or so from a cotton swab should do the trick. Do this in a well ventilated area! I found that isopropyl alcohol doesn't do a good...

Macintosh II & IIx replacement battery holders

In these machines, isn't one battery for the startup circuit, and the other for the PRAM? I didn't think they were both feeding the same circuit, but I could be wrong! :)

Emulation and Virtualization on a Macbook Air M1

FWIW, SheepShaver works fine on my Mac Studio.

    Strange Plus Mod?!

Took more than one look for me to figure it out :)

    Strange Plus Mod?!

Looks to me like they relocated that capacitor since it would be physically too big to fit on the analog board - it would interfere with the CRT.

    Surprise!

I'm pretty sure the BLU author is on the lisalist2.com forums. Might be worth asking there

    Lisa Sun20 drive questions/revival

I posted this just now on the LisaList2 site, but thought I'd toss it out here as well... --- I have on hand a Sun20 hard drive - I presume out of an XL at some point in time. When placed in an XL with Lisa ROMs, the drive spins up but is not recognized. BLU does not appear to recognize the...
