It's possible the scsi chip is blown but I would look also around UD11 (VIA) , as there are 3 caps there that can leak and do damage there, and some control signals for scsi pass through that IC.

That looks like a capacitor, maybe some sort of hacky way to stabilise screen during floppy access , rather than address the fault directly.

No doubt you have checked your work, but it may be worth checking those resistor solder points with a multimeter to make sure their is continuity from there to where the tracks go. Also those DIP sockets don't look the best, the fact that it does not beep at all would make me want to check the...

Yes and it's a more desirable keyboard . I suppose you need to findout if keyboard is holding reset low or shorting 5v down maybe isolate the reset pin( or wire) and see if amiga comes up And measure for shorts across caps , or across 5v snd ground pins 1 DATA 2 CLOCK 3 RESET 4 +5V 5 key...

Could you swap the pcb and cable for one of the working ones , or are they different style/manufacturer keyboards?

Yep, I gathered that , it's a pity https://hrdiemen.com/ is down . That may have the schematic of the flyback . I've searched webarchive and Google cache with no hits.

Better and much worse, there should be no connection at all between 1 and 5 for a start . Not to mention the rest .

Damn, unless they are rectified coil output , have you tried a diode test across the pins either way, it's the wrong coil anyway but might explain why you are not getting continuity and may explain the cap popping

That makes no sense to me, even if it's the wrong coil they should not be the same. I can send you a tested flyback if you want
