BlueSCSI v2 Pico - Low cost, open hardware, fast SCSI device!

So would it be with the BIN files inside the ZIP, or you are working on BIN updates for a future release. They are at the 2026.03.01 level now and just don't want to open the case if they can avoid it. Should have snaked out a usb cable IMO...

BlueSCSI v2 Pico - Low cost, open hardware, fast SCSI device!

So @eric , there's no way to get to the new firmware-update-with-zip with a bin-on-sdcard-root? I have to do the UF2 route with a USB cable? Asking for a friend who would need to take his SE/30 clear case apart without scratching it to update to the 2026.04.27 firmware...

Tips for upgrading my Lisa's MacWorks install from System 4.1 to System 6?

IIRC there are 3 versions of MacWorks: XL, Plus, and Plus II. Plus gets you to system 6. Plus II all the way to 7. You should be able to find them on Macintosh Garden and other repos of old Mac software.

"Platinum" PLA for Macs and Apple ][s

Does anyone have good settings for the Retro Platinum PLA on a BambuLab P1S? Mine does not adhere to the bed (or even well to itself) when I use the Bambu PLA settings.

    Power Macintosh 7200/7300/7500/7600 Power Button

Did you dry your PETG filament? That looks like classic wet PETG print issues to me. It does look like the file is a 3d scan and not modeled (you can see the faint raised part number on the surface), but it is a really good 3d scan that looks very clean to me. You definitely need to print with...

Ram 30-pin SIMM socket where to buy?

If it's just the plastic clips on the sides that broke, you may be able to use one of these 3d prints to hold the RAM in place: https://www.printables.com/model/57973-macintosh-ram-clips https://www.printables.com/model/1223243-macintosh-se30-simm-brace

Use DVD-RAM like external HFS SCSI HDDs on 68k Macs, possible?

Reading through, it looks like he was able to burn a DVDRAM (on another computer?) and maybe read it on a 68k Mac with the DVD driver that comes with 8.1, but it doesn't say that he actually burned the disks on a 68k machine. Sort of like how you can read a CD-R or CD-RW on most CD drives even...

Use DVD-RAM like external HFS SCSI HDDs on 68k Macs, possible?

DVDRAM support did not come to Mac until 8.6, which is after the point where 68k Macs were no longer supported (MacOS 8.1 was the last version that booted on 68k). There have been efforts to get later versions of MacOS to boot on 68k, but DVDRAM support was supplied by a driver extension and I...

Analog board - display horizontal alignment

Hot glue is probably the way to go if you want to fix them. It took a lot of pressure for mine to move so I left them, but if yours are loose (like you are worried it will change if you move the computer), then hot glue and wait a few hours before moving.

Analog board - display horizontal alignment

I've done it myself twice---once for ZZJ's grayscale board, and once when I transplanted a green CRT into my SE/30. You just really want to pay attention. Usually when I am working on these grand old machines I am not as careful as I would be with a brand new motherboard since $$$, but the high...

    Color Classic CRT geometry adjustment

I had that problem with my the monochrome green CRT from a dead Apple IIc monitor that I placed into my SE/30 MacEffects case. Had to twist the yoke for the overall tilt, I had to twist the magnets to fix issues with the deflection like "that corner that is too high/low". And you have to do this...
