Thank you everyone, I used Alex Labs DB-15 to VGA adapter and after toying with a few different monitors I got this to work.

Is it possible to get VGA video out from a stock IIsi? I’ve tried a DB15 to VGA adapter on multiple LCD monitors without success. What’s the trick here? Alternatively, I have a RGBtoHDMI; maybe this is a better option?

I wonder if it could be VRAM (or VRAM related traces).

I probably don't use mine as much as @Elemenoh but this has been my experience as well.
