>I usually program ROMs in Windows, so it was not a problem to switch to Windows in Step-4.
thats a good point. i've only programed one rom once. but the programer i have only has windows drivers. So really, the splitting files in step 4 wouldn't be the biggest hurdle of doing this in the mac...
@JDW i have _NEVER_ used this command. but i think we can do it with the split command
do a `man split` on your mac to get the full details.
I'm guessing this supports this set of computers ?
SE/30, IIx, IIcx, IIci, IIfx, and IIsi.
everything you said is tots fair.
>Library DRM
Thats not a steam deck problem. thats a Valve problem. Microsoft wouldn't care. in fact. Microsoft would be ok with you playing two different Microsoft games on two different computers.
But valve only wants 1 computer to have the library open at a...
I have a mac plus with the brainstorm. I was able to update the firmware and it did help with the sound.
Its also kinda interesting because it accelerates via upping the bus. So you need to make sure you have fast ram for it also.
My computer is unstable. I'm not sure if its the brainstorm or...
This might come from a place of privilege. but i really like having multiple computers of the same model. That way i can swap parts between to figure out what exactly is broken. .. or in the case of a battery bomb know what parts were rusted away.
So ADP uses s-video cables. So you could use a "s-video switcher". which might be easier to find.
i haven't actually tried this myself. this is just what i found online. That the cables are basically the same. (that is, they both use the same cable standard.)
the software supports hot swapping but hardware does not. People have and i'm sure still do hotswap their ADB devices. there is just a chance. you could cause a short and fry something.
But yeah. you can plug in keyboards / mouse / joysticks. and they work. as long as you were lucky enough to...
ooof @ johnsn
you can see which orientation the computers were sat.
Lucky for me. this IIci was on the side near the battery. so the damage was .. kinda in one area...
Ok i remembered that i have the 3-pin din cables for these local talk devices. using a multimeter i tested continuity.
it seems that they are straight through. The middle pin doesn't seem to be connected. so just uses the pins on either side.
I tried to search and found some more information. But nothing that talks about the 3 pin DIN connector... Well its mentioned. but it only talks about the 8 and 9 pin connector.

... maybe that can help in researching it ? still doesn't say...
..... oh so this is NOT the phone net version ? what you have is the $$ version that did not use phone cables.
idk if this would help or not. But Joe on youtube created his own phone net transducers.
maybe it will help you in figuring out what pins are for what....
I think for an iMac G3 i just used a IDE SSD. this one specfically
KingSpec 64GB 2.5 inch PATA/IDE SSD
and it seemed to work. .. idk if that was the best solution ...
