    LC II weird issues

Both had random trace damage. One had a bad audio amp and the other a bad audio chip. I scavenged the audio amp from one to fix the other and sent back to Javo. I'm waiting for a person who has promised me a "dead parts board" so I can scavenge another chip and get the board back to Javo.

"Platinum" PLA for Macs and Apple ][s

If you want the best color match, the ColorFABB RAL 7044 filament is nearly spot-on. Right now, there's no alternative that we've found.

"Platinum" PLA for Macs and Apple ][s

Okay, dropping a question here to everyone listening: Javier @Javmast3r did some pricing on shipping for the ColorFabb filament, and we can ship more and more filament for about the same shipping price. Like 10 rolls costs as much to ship as 1 roll? ????!?!??!?!? So, here's the question: should...

Backlit Mechanical Keyboard for the Apple IIc Computers

The upside is that the processes we learn for this version may be able to lead to a //c Plus version quite easily. The geometry is very similar, the keymatrix is very similar. Its mostly a factor of dealing with the volume slider.

    Mystic multiple SCSI cable?

I'm thinking: make an extension. Taking apart the machine is kinda a pain in the patoot, and if the connector in the backplane connector gets messed up somehow, you have a dead chassis. With an extension, you have to deal with shoving some extra cable up in the machine, but then you have a...

    Mystic multiple SCSI cable?

There is a way to crimp a new cable. You just crimp a new cable. :D Need bulk cable, IDC 50 connectors and a crimping tool. I have one of three of those right now... As long as the SCSI termination is correct and your devices don't have SCSI ID issues, it should just work. It's been 25 years...

Need Sound Chip 344S1033-A for LC II

I got a quote from one of those "sourcing" companies. Quantity 10 at $100 each. :wow:

Backlit Mechanical Keyboard for the Apple IIc Computers

The prototype was the coolest project I've worked on so far, up there with my universal Apple II keyboard Encoder. We had a nice details meeting last night and I can't wait to get working on the final version. It's gonna be awesome! (Interesting side note: that picture on the OP is working...

Need Sound Chip 344S1033-A for LC II

Thank you. My hope was some random stashy-place someone might have some chips. I've contacted one of those "NOS" sourcers to see if they can get me some. I may be able to get enough quantity to sell them on my website for folks who need them. As far as diagnosing the problem: yeah, not a spring...

Need Sound Chip 344S1033-A for LC II

Anyone have a reliable source on 344S1033-A sound chips? I need one to fix a busted LC II, and then a few more just to keep around... EDIT: The LC II is fixed. Now I just need one or two spare chips for future repairs.

Anyone here have the Titan III plus IIe Board Set? If so, would you be willing to drop some high resolution pictures of both sides of both boards? Pretty please? Need them for some close up comparisons.

"Platinum" PLA for Macs and Apple ][s

We don't have a US source yet. I've searched several times for RAL 7044 colored filament, and there are only two places I can find that carry that color, both in Europe. @MacintoshLibrarian has a contact with a US supplier (PolyMaker) and has asked if they can make us custom colored filament...

Current Project: the Pumpkintosh (Live Stream - January 7 2022 - 8:00pm Eastern)

My latest crazy project is the Pumpkintosh - the Amber Screen Clear Case Mac/SE. But I did even more. Yessir. Orange "Chip-On-Board-On-A-Strip" 12 volt LED segments, wired together into the Mac's power supply. This thing looks like a million bucks. Gonna do a livestream showing how I got...

"Platinum" PLA for Macs and Apple ][s

Can they provide a small sample spool first (250g?) so we can do a couple test prints for matching? Do they certify that their Pantone match is to the final printed item?

"Platinum" PLA for Macs and Apple ][s

We have a Pantone and RAL nearly exact match. So if we stick with one of those standards, we'll be okay.

Yeah, I can sell 'em on my store.

"Platinum" PLA for Macs and Apple ][s

That's nifty! If they can do RGB color codes, my color matching (over five items, each item sampled five times then averaged) indicates that the closest match is #BFBCB1.

"Platinum" PLA for Macs and Apple ][s

PETG BAYBEEE! Ahem. Seriously, though, the company has a few PETG filaments, but I'm not sure they do color matching on that. https://colorfabb.com/catalogsearch/result/index/?q=PETG
