I think it’s worth a try. I had to cut out support ribs on the 520c enclosure to get the replacement cells to fit. Fun times.

Your timing is perfect. I have a 180c battery pack I was going to refurbish like I did my 520c battery packs. I haven't cut it open yet and planned to reuse the original shell. Can you provide a link to the fuses you used?

Very nice! My dream solution, based on a comment made during a recent live stream on HyperCard programming I did, would be an intellisense feature. I don't believe it would be possible but I can dream. :)

Console5 responded to my email with suggestions for a kit. They recommend similar electrolytic caps due to the EMR rating. I'll post the link to the kit when they create it.

Tried it out and it works great. The color version is a bit slower as you've pointed out. I tried the B&W version on my Performa 550 to see if it was any faster. It appears the B&W version is fixed to the classic screen resolution - entirely understandable.

Recapping completed. Had a couple of pads come off but was able to fix it with a bit of wire and offsetting one of the caps over the remaining trace to the pad.

I pulled the trigger and ordered the CCII kit. I'll post when it gets here.
