Wow. A lot of TechStep docs are water damaged? That is interesting. Humidity and storage? Like, a textbook you bought 20+ years ago. When you find it, you see wavy paper lines.
I uploaded this one already its 1&2 I still need the 4th well good luck finding that one it's almost as hard as finding the 4th ROM.Interestingly, the spiral bound Troubleshooting Guide that I have is also water damaged. It's so bad in places that some pages are permanently stuck to each other, which means it must have been sitting in a pool of water for quite some time. You can see a little of that on on some pages in that manual in my TechStep video at 9:36 & 42:33.
4th is very rare it's around 3 they started to end it, the 4th is incredibly rare and any documentation. Is the 4th around the time when Apple shuttered Tech Step?
No water damage at all. Whew.
@retr01 Apple did that slick video and there were mentions in various trade mags like MacWeek. But I’ve never seen a print ad per-se which is odd.
There was a VHS tape ad!@JDW, I just realized there wasn't a brochure or even an advertisement of TechStep to authorized dealers by Apple back in 1991? I am going to create one as something that Apple never did.
Also found this Easter egg in the non-working 4th ROM I'd imagine it's a messed up 4th ROM but a late 4th ROM and the team was saying goodbye.
I love this awesome job!
