@AlexCL, this is a fascinating project. I wonder if it can relate to making color video output via SCSI to a monitor via HDMI with faster refresh timings so the SE/30 can display up to millions of colors.

There were discussions about that starting at this post under the PowerView thread.

Someone got a Macintosh Classic to boot with the PiStorm but still with limited functionality of Floppy only..

Minor Update on the PiStorm on a Mac SE...

I used an AI agent to patch the standard PiStorm Emulator to force 24-bit addressing on the 68020, 68EC30 and 68030 emulated CPUs.

Those CPUs couldn't boot on a Mac SE due to being 32-Bit addressing CPUs.

I ran speed tests on all the working CPU types on Speedometer 3.23. The 68020 appears to be the fastest. The Mac Classic is equivalent to 1.0 for speed factor.
