I'm also interested in the current state of this project. Sounds extremely interesting!

Not too much to update for functionality...

Someone got a Macintosh Classic to boot with the PiStorm but still with limited functionality of Floppy only..

Most of the updates are on the PiStorm Discord Server under the #macintosh channel.

Minor Update on the PiStorm on a Mac SE...

I used an AI agent to patch the standard PiStorm Emulator to force 24-bit addressing on the 68020, 68EC30 and 68030 emulated CPUs.

Those CPUs couldn't boot on a Mac SE due to being 32-Bit addressing CPUs.

The patched emulator is here:

I ran speed tests on all the working CPU types on Speedometer 3.23. The 68020 appears to be the fastest. The Mac Classic is equivalent to 1.0 for speed factor.

Huge Milestone for PiStorm on the Macintosh SE tonight!

I was working with an AI agent to try to get a virtual disk system working so I could install software larger than the 800k floppies I've been working with. After two days of back and forth I got a janky but working SCSI emulator that runs off of an image from the SD card. I had to format the SCSI drive on the make with LIDO and then copy over the System Folder. It actually booted! Then I opened the disk file with Basilisk II and installed System 7.5.5 and it works.

Ran lemmings and MacFilm for tests too.
