The macOS 9.2.2 iBook G4 and PowerBook G4! 😁

Oh, I forgot to mention that my iBook G4 has a combo 8x DVD/CDRW drive. @rjkucia's PowerBook G4 probably has a SuperDrive. No worries either can be upgraded to a SuperDrive from the combo.

Next, upgrade from 30 GB IDE PATA HDD to mSATA SSD in my iBook G4. I started following this guide:

Then I realized I really need spudgers!

Time to get a more convenient computer tool kit for SMALLER screws, anyway. I had been getting by, barely. It's not the same as the 68k Macs.

Yes, spudgers are 100% a must here! Hopefully the plastic is easier to work with. On mine, the sharp aluminum edges took a number on my spudgers.

I used the IFixIt 64 piece Mako kit, but screws here were the easy part. At least they only use two types of heads!

I put one of these enclosures with a 128GB SSD in a Lombard G3 with 9.2.2 installed. It’s wild how quiet it is.
