Thats well done! I am thinking about anodizing my aluminium frame lateron. But then again a paint-coating in dark grey or black can look good too (as youve shown)👍

Yes! Its OK, but I prefer the 9,7“ Ipad display as its brighter. At about 40€ incl delivery not too bad, Arriving in about two weeks to the Netherlands…. A ipad mini display would be nicer though.

Ohyeah CRT wil last 100+ years…..👍 (Aslong we can buy or can recreate the needed replacement parts) Another analog-y I actually like both, a bit of color makes it much nicer/practical…… LCD, TFT or whatever (better) replacements may come in the future can easy be exchanged when wished for 🍀

10“ wont fit the 9“ CRT 😂 I got an ali tx687 set to be exact its Brand is “knowletter” Guess not very usefull info.
