RGBtoHDMI for compact macs - need some help

Adrian's preset is for the Macintosh Classic, which seemingly uses a different signal schema. I have a preset which I've created for the Macintosh Plus (it also works on the 128k and 512k). I haven't tested this on the SE or SE/30 yet. Save the attachment to /Saved_Profiles/6-12_BIT_RGB/ on...

    Flyback glue/sealer

I was waiting for you to post your solution before I said anything. I had this problem on a mac, in fact after watching JWD's video I now check all of my analog boards in complete darkness as part of my standard induction process for "new" (to me) machines. One had a faint blue glow and upon...

Mac 128K Logic Board (Fault Finding)

I purchased this Mac 128k logic board knowing it wasn't working. I've poked at it a little over the last 6 months, which includes: Building a 4164 DRAM tester and testing the original DRAM. I found 2 were faulty but ended up replacing them all. Swapping the LS166 @ F14 & F15 (example board...

    Macchimey?

Absolutely, though I'm not sure how hard it would be to cut to the template? Either way I need to finish the template. It would be really cool if someone could find a company that can cut the design and ship it — and even more cool if they can have an "order now" page for specific designs, like...

Thanks for bumping your question, I meant to get back to you but it fell off my plate! Does this help?

    Macchimey?

Mac Chimney: Overdrive I still need to finish the side flaps so I can release the designs for everyone to enjoy. I guess instead of paper the chimney pieces could be 3D printed flat and heated to fold them into shape?

    Power Macintosh 7200/7300/7500/7600 Power Button

I’d love to explore it but I don’t own any compatible machines. Maybe it’s time to dip your toes into 3D design?

    Power Macintosh 7200/7300/7500/7600 Power Button

I've printed a few for folks in the past, but I can't really comment on how well they work. I used a combination of regular resin + a flexible resin (about 10%). I imagine their durability is lower than the originals.

    The Allentown Haul

Wowee that's quite the haul. If that sad little compact in the bottom left is ever looking for a good home I know a person (me) who would be interested in talking to you :)

Thank you for sharing this solution! uBlock Origin supports similar functionality — though I hope we can find a built-in option or plugin to allow this functionality.

    QuickTake 150… black photos

There are clips along the seams, start at the back near the view finder and proceed carefully. Once you begin to get a few clips it gets much easier. I used a plastic spudger.

    QuickTake 150… black photos

They have a handful of small electrolytic capacitors inside. I had mine open while I was investigating a stint of uncooperative connectivity which resolved itself when I used the correct drivers (go figure). Seems unlikely but if you're sure the shutter has been slid out of the way (e.g...

The height is 290mm. The remaining dimensions fit it snugly on the top of a Compact Mac.

Macintosh Portable Issue - Screeching Noise

Speaker may be shorting against something. The design is dangerously compact — try putting tape on the back of the speaker to rule it out and inspecting the wires. Mine is extremely finicky and I often need to press the "reset" button on the lower-left-hand side of the portable multiple times...
