It's amazing to me that there is not a dedicated tool for such a task. I guess it's an adjustment that's rarely performed but there had to be a bunch of other TV/monitors that had that same requirement. I like your solution to the problem and thanks for the reply!

The only way you could go wrong there is if the chips are fakes - but if you checked out the sellers feedback and he has no history of it, that's a solid purchase.
