Great video! This shows that at that time there was no solution for a display hinge. Apple made a kind of a (foldable?) triangular rack behind the the display. Thats why the bookconcept does not show a hinge, there was no solution yet. First one seems to be in the cnet pinterest image. @retr01 ...

scrolling on Pinterest showed this Frogs 1980 concept with the display hinge incorporated in the displays edge… So this looks a bit like to be the predecessor study into Apple‘s first laptop …….

Well, its has been a while, since I got the LCIII for this project…and before even trying to boot it, I did remove the caps. It was a mess…..specially in the audio department. Hope this works out well😇 Removing these caps was no problem at all, but some did not leave the pads where they belong...

Anyone here familiair with this work? May provide some additional info on their approach? 🍀 Edit: Interesting, but beside it has another purpose, it seems they got stuck at 640x480 in color….guess it does not apply here.
