Not proprietary at all. It's the Molex KK 2139 9-position connector linked above. Pretty typical, just not as ubiquitous as the Mini-Fit Jr. They were used on the Lisa too. You'll need to get KK pins and a crimper to make your own cable though.

Normal, but significant crust and electrolyte pooling around the caps. You'll possibly need to remove and clean underneath the video muxes to clear shorts there.

I like a hoof tip for a lot of things, especially drag soldering. Bent conical can also come in handy. I also have some PLCC tips which are so helpful to quickly remove those packages. Otherwise a small chisel is great for most things.

Not really. I did test a lot of stuff in the horizontal section of the analog board but didn't find any culprits. Your symptom looks the same as mine? Do you have a thread going about it already? If not it'd be great to see some photos or videos.

I deleted the revised file from my post to avoid something misleading out there. Perhaps it'd make sense for someone to create a fork and revise to show the bodge, while leaving the original redraw as-is.

@YMK is this fix only applicable to the reloaded board or are you saying that fix is the bodge seen on earlier rev original boards?

@Stephen if you can find a MFR-1350 for $200-250 and sell your SP-440 for $150-200 it'd be worth it IMO.

How is the internal drive jumpered? I recently had a LCIII that wasn't mounting external SCSI devices of any sort. I noticed the internal drive (a transplant fro, something else) was set to ID1. I changed it to ID0 and external stuff started to work.
