Any SCSI to Ethernet solutions on the horizon?

Being a happy user of RASCSI for both HD and Ethernet emulation, I can only but to strongly recommend it

How to convert DMG and other formats to ISO (for RASCSI)

Unclear if here is the right place... I need to mount some CD images in the RASCSI and I think only ISO images would work, but what I can download at the Garden are CUE/BIN or DMG images. How can I convert these formats to ISO using a modern Mac? (Ideally without having to purchase Toast or...

Low-cost 3 MB RAM card for Macintosh Classic

I built time ago a couple of these FPU cards for the Classic II and in the BOM there's the DigiKey reference for the connector (I think is the same than the one in the Classic): https://github.com/dymczykm/classic_ii_fpu

    Floppy Transit Protector

I found this model some months ago, which seems pretty less elaborated than yours. I tried to get it printed by PCBWay (I don't have printer) and they refused the design because it was too thin for their standards. It would be interesting to see how yours ends up...

    Floppy Transit Protector

Hi. I've been trying to get some of these. Did you try already to print one?

    RASCSI Internal holder?

Yes, that was the idea to mount it in place of the 3.5 HD. Something like the holder available for the BlueSCSI. I'll check out your proposal for combined holder, but maybe @PotatoFi's magic is required here :)

Hello, Does it exist a model to print a bracket to mount internally a RASCSI with a Pi Zero on the top? Txs!

Problem with IIci and NuBus cards (Solved!)

I got today another NuBus Card (the Macintosh Display Card 8•24) and I also get it working in the IIsi but not in the Iici, so definitely there's an issue. I ordered the 74ALS240 and let's see if it solves the issue...

    Recommended NeXTStation maintenance

Yes, that's ideal. Best of both worlds... I didn't know about this "kitty" thing, so I though this was about soldering a CR battery holder, which is what I don't like... I need to get a couple of these adapters...

    Recommended NeXTStation maintenance

It’s just because I don’t like much changes that affect to the aesthetics. But from a practical standpoint the CR mod is a very good idea.

Switzerland as option for Trading Posts (and debate about "Europe")

I totally agree... we should just arrange it geographically and not politically... After all for USA & Canada there's just "North America", so we shouldn't make it unnecessarily complex.

Best table wine value you've found recently?

That's definitely a question that depends totally on your country. While I was living in Spain I could find easily very good wines in the sub-10 Eur price tag. For example, if you have the opportunity to find this one, it worths of testing: But now that I live in Switzerland, and even if I...

    Finally, a nice Quadra 840AV

Some failed machines like the Lisa tell an story that is worth of being preserved

    Recommended NeXTStation maintenance

It I was so lucky to be the owner, I'd definitely check the caps for signs of leaks or corrosion nearby... and once I took out the board I'd give a good clean with IPA. I personally don't like the CR2032 mod... but I hope you already replaced the battery.

Documentation for DB15 to VGA adapters

As this is of general interest for many models and not only Macintosh II, I suggest this post is moved to Vintage Apple > Add-ons, Peripherals & Networking > Graphic Cards & Audio / Visual

MT-32 PI Project for the Mac

I checked about getting a real one, but what I found was too expensive, so I decided to make the custom hat for the MT32-PI. I really like it, as it allows to work in both MT32 and soundfont mode (I could play MIDI files with the SC-55 soundfont and it sounds quite well). I use a PI 3B and...
