You may find short splitter cables. Then you can just chop off the unused end.

For those interested,
ive posted version2.1 prototype files in recources

Looking forward to see your results 👍

Due to lack of cable/connectors, and costly aspect to that, ive figured out a way to feed the cables&connectors through the backshield decently.
That until ive sourced the parts to create a final connector shield.

Considering there's a good chance anyone considering doing this will likely be doing so due to a battery-bombed logic board... they should be able to harvest the ADB and any other hard to find connectors off that damaged board? 🤔 Further, I believe said ADB connectors are the pinout / spacing as S-video, so it might be worth searching with that in mind. I believe that just leaves the DB19 (floppy) connector as the hard to get one - though there is someone selling them in the US IIRC? What else is on the hard to get list?

@mg.man …… Harvesting parts from an bombed board may solve it indeed!
Good idea.
Thanks!

Ive got this broken adb keyboard with cable and a IIci board to start with.
DB19….DB25 on the Q630.

Commonly used connectors can easy be found new. Still I would have preferred all new connectors, but thats an illusion I discovered.

Well, its comming together slowly.
VGA connector in place.
Made a custom holder for the adapter, and when the screws from the VGA are thightened, its locked in place also.
Dual 50 Pin connector fits, and one gets modified next.

Happy sofar.

Clever with that DB15 to VGA video adapter with DIP switches set up vertically.
Ayup! In the original case, a board like that should have the Video/Sound Card and VGA adapter housed in the TV-Tuner Bay so it can be easily pulled out the back for adjustment. ;)

@-SE40- I see you've sourced and installed the Video package, got a pic of that setup or full width view from topside?

@Trash80toG4 :
Temporarely mounted the AV-box to the backslot, as there must be a way to reach that.
As its a SE30 case so no further bays available if thats what you meant.
No Mpeg card found yet.
Not the first priority, but keep an eye open for that.

Edit:
Specially for @Trash80toG4 ….See attachment.

Confused, if you're talking about the TV tuner box, just leave that out unless you still have Analog Broadcast TV. 🙃

If you're talking about the front panel control box, that can be mounted anywhere under the LCD so it's next to the HDD Activity LED. Desolder the IR receiver, bodge wire and hot glue it to the box so it sits behind the LED window. All functions are controlled by that nifty remote.

Still waking up, going from muddled memory.

Crossed message/update.
Right ….analog😂
Just moved over most what was in the original 630.
Will see what it does, if it finally may work….

Edit: conversion to front for remote use is a good idea, still seaching for a remote….

Finalizing the 9,7” displaymount…..
This is an 1024x768 display from Advantech, modified for this purpose.
Guess a similar display as Ipad 1/2.
Anyway, the right resolution for this hardware.
Tested quickly on the LCIII, and it works.

Wow, that is excellent @-SE40-! With an LCD screen and small form factor 68k Mac logic board like the LC III, there are a lot of possibilities. I was imagining putting a 68k Mac in an automobile! :)

** SAFETY first! Pull over and park before using the Mac! **
