Lisa needs 3:4 aspect ratio panel. Won't work for anything over 1200x1600 unless letterboxed. 640x400 PowerBook is perfect for the Duo 2300c Panel in 16bit , letterboxed mode in the PB100 lid. That's what's in there now.

I may revisit the Duo upgrade. AssFlap on the PB100 is spot on for a docking connector IIRC. SD on 2.5 inch IDE adapter is a game changer. was related to your bezel flattening but PowerBook bezel/panel is tangential here I think?

Nah, 4K obviously won't work as it's a 2x2 1080p aggregate, no? 2560x1600 IPS would put one hella' slide show on the Apple Display Unit inside the bezel of my precious BabyPB.

LisaPquarium home for my plastic fish would be a more likely end game for my left intact Little Bit of Lisa. I've been spoiled by using the 42" 1080p panel for BenchMac display. 12" no longer cuts it I'm afraid, even at 1600x1200. Bezel's out of reach ATM, but I can get to it and measure it up another time.

Lets put it this way, it's exactly the same as the 12" RGB PizzaTopper bezel. That I can use as a vacuum forming buck for the curved front of a LisaQuarium thin build.

Well, I did gave V2 a chance, cut the parts and overall it does fit well, but there are a few improvements to make ….

Beautiful! Wondering how long it will take you to have a sheet of plexi laid out like that for a clear bucket? We don' need no steenking handles! Not in a short stroked bucket with a beautiful wood chassis anyway. ;)

@Trash80toG4 - cutting cast plexiglass with a suitable cutter is no problem.
Troublesome is the cheap acryl with a unsuitable cutter. But having cheapo acrylics lasercut (or I guess hydrocut) is no problem again. As for speed, I am not interrested as its no production. Think cutting time took me an hour incl post process .

Well, I make some adjustments in and recut these items next.

(handle is optional btw)

Next the assembly and cablemanagement.

Due to rising of the PCB baseplate,
the remaining space above the connector has become minimal - as expected-
It does fit well!
Glad I made these adjustments!

Toying with the connections/cables showed that the fan position could better be on the right side. This to allow undisturbed airflow upwards….I just have to see how that combines with the mains connector and switch. Otherwise - instead of the bigger - to apply a smaller fan in the middle, free space…

The MPEG Media PDS Card cables up to that connector. DSP on board does some CODEC or other for early video and PhotoCD and if you want to use it as a pictureframe. I think the Presentation System Card hooks up to it too? Not awake yet . . .

edit: forgot, looks fabulous! Where does SCSI go and have you got a link to those connectors, panel mount IDC?

Just wondering …..Is this a must have item ?

SCSI HDD/FDD go down to the baseplate for possible future connections.
Dont need it for now, but better to have it available for quick connect floppy/CD?
I am in need for some 50pin band cable.
Or 2x25pin to finish that.

I'd say it's fun to play around with it, I did, but only if you're interested in doing that kind of thing on 68K. PPC finished off the need for DSP IIRC. If I could just find that dratted Q630 board.

Info on those connectors?

Ok great! So mpeg 1 is the only format supported by system 7/8 - hard/software? Or is there a way to update this up to some more modern standard? Maybe borrowing a card from a powermac?🙈 (guess not)

Info on those connectors? …….

These are just male bandcable connectors with screw lugs, so you can mount a flatcable endpoint in a chassis. Very compact. I could not get the 2x4 male mount, so prob endup making one myself by modifying a male band connector with a 3D printed holder.
