Don't worry about those - they're just the source files. They have no bearing on the execution of the app once it's compiled - which it already is. You need to download the Windows application as the updateII.dat file is in there. It's not part of minipro.

It's not part of minipro. It's part of the Window's application installer package. If you have the Windows app you should be able to find it in the same directory.

If you right-click the folder containing the updateII.dat file and select "Services/New Terminal at folder" it should drop you right where you need to be. Then the update command should work just fine.

Yeah, but you need to be in the same directory as the firmware file, or give minipro the full path to where it is.

What's the exact message you get? The firmware update function spews a bunch of helpful messages if it fails at any point..

I've got that one with original disks, but there was also a folder with blank disks for running the floppy tests with.

These are the docs that came with my unit for reference. The two floppies with introduction and reporting software are there, but I'm missing the blank floppies and its folder.
