Toying with the connections/cables showed that the fan position could better be on the right side. This to allow undisturbed airflow upwards….I just have to see how that combines with the mains connector and switch. Otherwise - instead of the bigger - to apply a smaller fan in the middle, free...

Hello all, New frame testbuilt on the way. Minor adjustments to the TV-out card - position. Further its spot on (asfar a I can see) Next the assembly and cablemanagement. Due to rising of the PCB baseplate, the remaining space above the connector has become minimal - as expected- It...

@Trash80toG4 - cutting cast plexiglass with a suitable cutter is no problem. Troublesome is the cheap acryl with a unsuitable cutter. But having cheapo acrylics lasercut (or I guess hydrocut) is no problem again. As for speed, I am not interrested as its no production. Think cutting time took...

Files are mostly in DXF and STL format. Assembly can be viewed in STEP and 3D-PDF. The prototype material is plywood, metric 3mm. Other material, other thickness is possible, You then may need to adapt the slots In CAD. Njoy! date: 30082022 After cutting proto V2 there where quite a few little...

Just out of curiousity, what if you buy the shown PCB, add these lowprofile switches , ….then create your own keycaps, using a 3D resin printer….. What would then be the needed inner space hight around this keyboard. (Keyprofile estimated/adapted from previous shown IIgs picture here)

@Trash80toG4, I like the idea creating a pcb & keycaps,…. but not in need for an extra project. I have another look at my simple keyboard conversion to check on whats the actual problem. 🍀

Hey Fred, Compliments are always appreciated! CNC machines, suitable for home (shop) or desktop use is something ive been tinkering with -on and of - for the last 22Years. CNC@home has come a long way, but its never been so „affordable“ and accesable as it is now. So many examples on the web...

Whats the margin of the Lisa bezel? What size display display would fit within that? Best make a sectional drawing of that first. You need to know exactly what level to flat out, and get it square, looking at it from the front. CNC routing is a great way to do this job. But any routing jig...
