Is there an updated BOM anywhere for the 1.1 DB25 or desktop? I see this, but I don't think it reflects the latest hardware revision.
BOM actually didnt change (well just added 2 resistors for LED's, that's it!)

RE: case files, just been extremely busy, they'll be posted as soon as I get a moment to do so.

Sure. If you post them, I can create a PR in the GitHub repo to add them to the 3d printed directory. Or if there's anything else I can do to lighten the load...

Posting to github is easy, determining which files I needed to was the hard part :D

I put together a few yesterday and made small tweaks based on the discussions here:

I removed the block by the SD holder as it wasn't providing benefit and could push up on the SD card slot.

I added a bit more space on the back overhangs - I think the issue was the rounded overhang just didn't print quite right, so a little more tolerance there should help. I may just remove the bottom one entirely.

I gave slightly more room on the front support where the DB25 connector goes.

Please let me know if you have any feedback, or remix it and post one yourself!

Awesome. I’ll print them out so they’ll be ready when my PCBs come in. I’ll let you know if I run into any fit issues

I got one of those DB25 male-female extender thingies recommended by Bruce @Branchus to clear the case lip on my Centris 650, and it worked like a charm. Thanks for the suggestion, Bruce, and many thanks again to @eric for the design!

I think Branchus has that Blue and translucent case with the square hole on top for the jumpers. I like that one, looks pretty cool.

Yeah, my first self assembled DB25 kit, apparently my bluepill is sitting a bit high, because the jumper pins (and subsequently the jumpers) keep the top of the case from sitting flush. If you want a little more wiggle room in the top of your case, here's one that is 1mm taller. Also included is a slightly thicker version of the lid.

I'd be interested in the one with the cutout if @Branchus would like to share. I've had a surprisingly challenging time cutting material out of an object completely in Meshmixer...

This is the STL for the DB25 case I made. The only issue is that I made it to fit exactly with the DB25 connector I use, which is probably different to the ones being supplied by other BlueSCSI sellers. You may need to tweak things to make them fit.

New Beta firmware - if you have time to test, please do! Lots of new things added

Changes

  • Apple HD SC Setup support #71
    • You can now format in most Mac utilities without error.
  • Image set selection #73
    • Add a physical switch/jumpers externally to your BlueSCSI so you can switch computers without moving files on the SD card. Select between 4 image sets (folders of images) on the SD card. There is also an optional shared image set.
    • See Github issue for usage instructions. Will be on wiki once released.
  • CLZ optimization #63, Optimize handling of reset interrupt. #64, Code reordering for bus settle delays #78, Upgrade to latest toolchain #67, #70
    • These changes give a performance improvement of 10%+ and better stability. My 6100 does 1.2mb/sec read, 1.2mb/sec write.
  • Be more lenient on SD cards that are not able to communicate at 50mhz SPI #69
    • Some SD Cards would fail to communicate with the BlueSCSI at 50mhz but work fine at 49mhz. No real change in performance till you reach 40mhz, which a warning will be logged.
  • Fixes to get VAXstation 3100 working #59
Compatible with Hardware versions 1.0-a, b, c and 1.1-a.

We now have USB flashing working. This does require you to first have the USB bootloader though - which we will be flashing on all BlueSCSI's going forward. If you do not then you can flash it with an STLink or we will soon be offering a cost of shipping service to do it for you.

All details on flashing and upgrading can be found here: https://github.com/erichelgeson/BlueSCSI-Updater/

Note this is the first pass and we'll be making the process easier as we go. Thought it was better to get the USB bootloader out in the wild early so more people will have it for the next update!

Eric does the blueSCSI work with MacSnap scsi? I got a 512K unit today with this in it with the Plus ROMS as needed. Tried it but it would not boot up. All I got was the red light on the blue active.

thanks

Does the MacSnap provide enough term power to power the BlueSCSI? Have you tried it powering the blueSCSI via usb?
