That's been tested, IDE vs. SCSI benchmarks are a wash in the 630. If anything IDE wins out by a hair IIRC, but that would be disk performance, unrelated to interface performance I think? CF/Adapter trumps all.Then IDE boot can be compared with internal and external SCSI boot, aswell other speedtests?

A thought... what about moulding it 'flat', and then using heat to shape it over a real Mac tube?Unfortunately the material is thicker in the middle and so additional causes a slight surface deformation
